If you are in nursing school your Medical Surgical Class will cover all topics in this book. I did pick up a few pointers, but other than that it was very superficial.

This book is very easy to understand. It is to-the-point, not bogged down with too much extra info, examples or explanation. The ideas are very well tied to the overall theme of nursing care regarding older adults. I bought this book because it was required for my LPN program’s gerontology class, but I just wanted to say that I feel the author did an outstanding job! She even adds some personality here and there, like a good class instructor does.
