The book is addressed to cardiology fellows and support staff with the objective to educate in methods and different techniques used to diagnose and treat a variety of cardiovascular diseases. It is the most comprehensive and concise textbook covering this field. This is a must for every invasive, interventional cardiology resident and surgical resident. Each chapter is well presented. Equal detail is used to describe routine procedures and rarely performed procedures, like brachial cutdown or apical puncture. To compare with previous editions, relevant subjects outlining complications of cardiac catheterization are included. In all it is a must have.

Amazon team,
I am a cardiology fellow at one of New York major tertiary care University hospital centers. I depend on reliable service and delivery of my textbooks for obvious reasons of time scarcity. This is the second time I am missing a textbook which is extremely importand for my trainig. I dont know how else to get to your attention that your service is unacceptable from any angle you look at it. I’ve called several times and all i got was an incompetent polite jibberish from people who barely speak english. Please deliver my book and do something about your lousy service!

Company communicated very well! I was completely satisfied despite the book being damaged (they forewarned me, but it was worse than I thought). I had to send it back, but they guaranteed shipping and assisted with return. I really appreciated the customer support and will buy from them again.

Thorough yet easy to read description of diagnostic catheterization and interventional techniques. The hemodynamic section is nicely explained. It nicely details the basics as well as the more advanced interventional topics. It elaborates on both the technical side and on the evidence-based/clinical studies aspect. It also covers non-coronary interventions. I believe this book is useful for general cardiology fellows like me and interventional fellows.
