Tried this product after I saw it on Oprah … am currently pregnant and already had sinus issues before pregnancy that have escalated during pregnancy. Reluctant to take OTC meds so thought I’d give this a try. Used it for 2 days (very easy to use) and came down with worst sinus infection in a long time. Haven’t tried it since but am willing to give it another go around before I toss it out.

I was excited to try the neti pot even though I have minor allergies to pollen but let me just say that the feeling of water flooding your nose and sinuses is rather uncomfortable. I had a pressure headache from my sinuses after using it and am not certain I want to try it again and that’s despite following the instructions to make certain all of the water was out. Overall, it might be worth it if I had more serious sinus issues, but I don’t.

I am sure the product treats what it is made for. However, I wish I knew better how to use it to the full effect. It took me a few days to use it correctly and I am still not good at it. I am just afraid the salt water might get into my brain or lungs although I know the chance is quite slim; I guess that is what the after use exercises are for. I am able to clear the excess mucus after use so I can feel the nose block subsides. I need to use it on both nostrils so for the moment I have not felt that the sinus headaches have gone away. I have been using it for 5 days.

I recommended the starter kit to a friend with severe allergies. She appreciated my feedback, made the purchase through Amazon and is very pleased with the product and the price. It’s an affordable investment that provides excellent healing benefits for people with nasal allergies.

SinuCleanse Nasal Wash System, Unbreakable Neti Pot With Salt Packets
I didn’t get much sinus relief from the Neti Pot, but it is a good way to wash out your sinus cavity. Who would believe that you can make yourself a fountain in your bathroom mirror? That is, you can pour water into one nostril, breathe through your mouth, and see the water come back out the opposite nostril. We should’ve seen this in high school science class.
