SimBioSys ACLS tabulates a score for each case on how well you followed the A.H.A. guidelines and indicates where points were added or deducted. In addition, a log book records every move you make. Both the scoresheet and log book can be printed. SimBioSys ACLS has 55 cases including ventricular fibrillation, asystole, ventricular tachycardia, atrial flutter, atrial fibrillation, supraventricular tachycardia, pulseless electrical activity, bradycardia including 2nd & 3rd degree heart blocks, and hypotension / shock / pulmonary edema. I have been a ACLS provider for 17-years, and let me tell you.
This CD-ROM program is the best purchase I have ever made. Its fun, I have learned an incredible amount of ACLS protocols and the best part is there is NO pressure. The graphics are wonderful, you will really get wrapped up in the scenarios. I truely felt like I was treating real patients!

I used this program during my medical training. It provided realistice “codes” and allowed valuable practice in running them. You race against the clock to save the patient but luckily if you make a mistake here the consequences are only virtually fatal. Allows practice with real ACLS protocols and gives feedback and hints if these are deviated from. Neat graphics. Enables you to order labs, EKGs, etc…I wish this program was available when I was in med school. Ideal for med students, residents, physicians, and paramedics.
